[Error: unknown template qotd] I never had to hide anything,  I read everything, which was how I knew where babies come from when I was 5.  (That is what happens when you have a kid who can read at 3.)  Nothing was ever kept from me, except the time I tried to watch "Dogs in Space," which starts off like porn and my dad was having none of that.   Of course my parents let me watch Dallas in elementary school and walk around pretending like I was a drunk Sue Ellen with a ginger ale bottle instead of vodka.  (and I wonder why I had no friends)

I can't think of any books I had to hide either. My parents didn't have any books in the house, really. I guess I'd have to cite the Playboy magazine I found in my older brother's room. It was educational.
I do remember getting in trouble with the school librarian when I was 9 or 10 for taking out a book on ecology that she said was too advanced for me.
